How about finding a source for the stock radiator and such as well?

Hey, ciper, do you have any idea when the group buy will happen? Are you just waiting for 20 people?

How much would a complete factory w-a i/c system be worth to you guys over in the states?

I'm talking everything, intercooler, radiator, pump + all associated lines & hoses.

Can anyone gimme a rough guess on what shipping might be? I have no idea how much they weigh. I'm worried sending one of these things to Canada will start to make it less attractive moneywise to me.

Great idea.

I have been looking for this intercooler for some time now. I see them on eBay every once and a while but they go for so expensive. This group buy is a great idea, and I will buy one for sure (maybe two, depending on shipping).

ciper : I'm not sure how hard it is to set up a paypal acount to recieve payments? but that would be a good option to go about for payment. Just an idea.

I really want this intercooler, my friend has a 92 Integra GSR and I can't beat him in a race, he kills me in 3rd!! damb . But I think this intercooler and some more boost should do the trick.

I want to make something out of this, realize you guys will be basically getting it for cost.

I will only add more people if you plan to put the intercooler on a Legacy (of any year).

I have a paypal account to recieve payments, DONT send anything yet.

sorry I didn't really introduce myself or my car.

My name is Deryk, and I live in Ottawa, Canada
I bought a 92 Legacy turbo (auto) about a year and half ago. At the time I had only driven automatic cars, and wanted to switch to standard. But this car caught my attention and I got it anyways, even though it was automatic.
After the buy, I kept looking around for a standard. Lone behold a year later I found one, and I bought it. It is 92 as well, even the same color. Now I have 2, sweet. But I am currently trying to sell the automatic so I have more money to put in the standard.

I have done some research on the net about the installation of this intercooler, and I have some links which may or may not help you guys out.

does anyone have a picture of the back of the IC? I want to see if the APS cast pipe will fit onto it? Does it just have one outlet or two?

Thanks

Just one outlet like the early WRX's.

APS only cater for the later model WRX's with the twin entry air to air i/c

I'm betting he's still waiting for them to get shipped here. Ciper isn't a flake so you'll hear from him when things work out.

So...

I talked to Ciper today and he received the intercoolers. There's going to be 10 available and they're going to be $65 plus shipping. He wants to give them to the people in the order they responded in this thread. So, if you don't want it anymore, please post that as well.

The list so far is:

1. Thawa (confirmed)
2. georryan (confirmed)
3. evolutionmovement (confirmed)
4. nubs (confirmed)
5. klug (confirmed)
6. mikec (confirmed)
7. vrg3 (confirmed)
8. $J-MoNeY-$
9. rB5 (confirmed)
10. mgardenier

Again, if you don't want it anymore please post so the next in line can get it.

Hm, so not quite as cheap as he originally expected. That's okay with me. I'll confirm that I still want it.

bleh 65, this came at a most inopportune time though. Tell ciper I do still want them. And ask him if I'm still getting a silver one and black one or just one? Also ask him if it's alright to not ship it and either bring it next time he comes to s2 or pick n pull or something, or if I can go pick it up from him or something.

I would assume that we'd each just get one, since there's a waiting list... but while you're asking, Brian, check with him about whether I get one or two anyway. ;)

And tell him I hope he's doing alright.

This is a very inopportune time for me as well, and I regretfully have to back out.

I'll stay Saab'd for now.

You can bump someone up on the list.
