BAC: Yes, playing in the rain with the Scooby is very fun. Other cars get jealous
The Quaife LSDs are torsen units? posi-like clutch-based units? viscous coupling units? And obviously, you're implying the Impreza model Quaife LSDs are compatible with the Legacy? This is good to know.

Quaife diffs are considered some of the best in the world (from everything I've heard that is, I don't know a whole ton about diffs).
Chris - The Quaife is a TORSEN style unit.
Unfortunately, for the price of ONE Quaife unit, I could get 2 KAAZ units, or 1.5 Cusco units

.
Anyone know if there is a TORSEN center diff replacement? I doubt it

The tire will spin on one the right most of the time, but I can spin both fronts and they'll even hook up at the same time. Fly up and I'll show you, you can pay for dinner as I'm unemployed.

...who said I was employed? Technical work just doesn't exist over here anymore.
Well, paid technical work anyway.
I'll keep the Quaife in mind when I've actually got some serious traction problems in the future. Very good to know that's available.

there is no hydraulic fwd trnsmission, you would have to change the pedals and completly convert to a cable system.
