the AGX #1 setting is basicly stock, setting #2 is equal to GR-2's. Why did you get AGX's if you're running them so soft?

I run WRX Struts with Eibach Prokit springs, and am very impressed (especially since I got them all for $200 shipped :D )

It lowered the car nicely, rides pretty taught (which is how I like it) and handles really nicely...the only I gripe I have is that the rear springs could use a bit more preload...because they are a little bit bouncy, but when I had a Turbo 5MT tranny in the trunk, it felt awesome...

Oh...btw... WRX Struts = GR2's...so if you can find a good set of WRX struts, then you might save some $$ over new GR2's

How is the camber?

My new setup is now sitting in my garage waiting for me to install it. It includes:

STI inverted struts front & rear (fronts have new inserts)

Eibach spec springs; front rate = 425
rear = 450 plus tinder springs

Adjustable ride height thanks to ground control hardware.

Front strupt mounts are wrx, rear are 2.5rs or stock legacy (not sure which)

I am going to try and finish the intall tomorrow and take it for a tesy drive.Review will come shortly...I guess its kinda an experimental setup...

The camber was fine, but I had the alignment shop do -2 degrees, which drastically improved grip :o

i have a '94 Legacy Wagon L (FWD) and some stock springs from my old '02 WRX Sedan. would i be able to use these WRX springs on my wagon? which struts should i go with or should i keep my stock wagon struts?

The FWD's have different rear struts. You must keep the FWD rear struts, and I'd suggest sticking with wagon struts.

so the springs would work though? would just have to get wagon struts off like an '02-'03 WRX Wagon?

I have three different setups on 3 of my legacy SS's.

One has stock springs on WRX struts. Rides slightly better and more firm than stock...but that may only be because my other legacy ss's on stock suspension have beat struts.

The one I'm currently daily driving has ground control coilovers on KYB AGX struts. The adjustment on the struts has a nice wide range going from barely stiffer than stock to about as firm as you'd want to go on the street. Mine are set up lowered about an inch from stock so I still have plenty of clearance. They can also go about an inch or 2 above stock. I may jack it up a bit for the coming snow. Body roll is minimal on the street on stock sways when you crank these up. They're plenty for the street, but if I tried to race on these I think I'd be disappointed.

The race car has DMS 50mm coilovers in rally length and valving. They're fantastic. They don't feel any more harsh than when I have the KYB setup cranked up 75% but these take big hits like they're nothing. You always wonder if the KYB's are going to explode when you take a hit and they're cranked up. :) DMS's service is excellent when it comes time for rebuilds. If you want something bombproof these are an excellent choice. That said, if you have the big money for the real Ohlins (not the street ones they sell for WRX now) I'd go with those.

You can not run AWD rear struts. You can only run FWD rear struts. If you can physically fit an AWD strut on a FWD rear spindle, you're car will be ultra low riding due to the mounting height difference.

so my old '02 WRX springs would work with stock FWD struts or KYB's, etc?

The AGX's are standard and I'm not sure on the GC specs. I can tell you the height adjustment range is about 1" below stock to about 2" above stock which makes it look like the body is on a truck frame.

Your second link just goes to a list

But it looks like they just use generic pictures for everything on both sites. I would just go for the OEM ones for your model on whatever site is cheaper.
