The only scoop thats a direct swap for your car is from a MY92-94 Legacy SS. Every other scoop will have you modifying your hood.

DUDE! I had no idea you were in Alberta! you should come meet up with Mike (STiPro) and me sometime, he'll teach you stuff and I will just talk about my dreams that never come to fruition

What is your handle on the WSC?

I have some extra 90 silicone and stuff if you are in need of parts. did you get a top mount yet?

I am in the process of doing the TD04 and 06 TMIC right now as well.... but something always goes wrong, right now I am trying in vain to get the oil return pipe for the bottom.... I got one from another TD04 (apparently) and it doesn't fit

I think i Got another oil return pipe, also you have to extend it with a piece of hose.

Its parkes on WSC

Also im going to DTp in Calgary on Saturday to meet chopstix for a BPV and MBC, also silent overnighted me a WRX tmic yesterday so i should get it done today, ill be running a full 100$ VTA bov temporarily

ahhh Parkes, it's all coming together now.....

I have new hose in there, the problem I am running into is the flange of the oil PIPE not mating with the turbo... lame

did the top mount and stuff happen?

hmmm, I wasn't planning on going to DTp... but it's a possibility

Mike (STiPro) is my eternal hookup - respect - and he gave me a proper oil return pipe so I am now set to go.

what did you do to move your PCV hoses?

ya, you need to get a flange fabbed to go where the BOV would go and connect that to the BPV....

like zis

Dont know what the pcv hoses are just know i hooked em all back up with new ones,

im 20mins south of calgary, who fabbed this for you?

Id trade a wrx bpv just for that piece or i could pay you to make me one!

The TMIC is in, Coolant resoirvoir was moved to where AC was, BPV didnt fit so we are in the process of fabbing something up, HERE ARE the pics!

I just realized we didnt have the clip on the TMIC so it is slightly detached in the pictures, but its all good.

I'm not sure if I would have that coolant line kinked like that. Try to get a longer line on it so it doesn't bend quite as much.

ya otherwise your car will die after the coolant line busts

and that is a 06/07 tmic correct?

you just took the plastic covers off?

i didn't know you could do that... if that's what you did.

looks good though!

So whatever happened to the 02-05 TMIC not fitting without banging up your firewall? Looks like he did it...

Posted: Wed May 28, 2008 5:03 pm
by 94SS_Canada
Let me just say it smokes the firewall and the hood dosent shut as well as it used to but it still fits.
