vacuum units......

You guys with the Kg/mm vacuum.....I think we got some unit issues.......unless I'm not fully understanding everything.
kg/mm of vacuum cannot be converted to PSI.....it's not the same unit of measure. kg/mm*mm is the same unit of measure as PSI....but that wasn't what you guys used.
My thinking is that kg/mm is in relationship to either water or mecury....mmHG and mmH2O are units of pressure.
The only other thinking is it is just a straight up....how many mm does it take to put a certain kg force and move the fluid level in a manometer up a certain amount..........If so.....I have no freakin clue how to convert it to PSI.......
Did find a pretty cool page during my quest for some answers http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Metrics/factors.htm

While looking at the boost gauge at idle what should
the vacuum be at assuming the gauge is accurate. (for
an ej22t)
