My Gas tank was boiling today.

Temp was about 80F outside, after driving on local roads for about
1.5 hr, I heard a boiling sound from the right passenger rear. I
released the gas cap, pressure went out for a few seconds, then I
didn't hear the gas boiling again. However, I have not driven the
car since. Any thoughts?

no kidding. i just noticed mine was doing the same thing the other
day. not even last summer did i notice. it was a hissing sound
kinda that got my attention after the car was shut off. well more
like a whining sound or something. kinda like the power to the
stereo was still on but then i opened the cap to let the pressure out
and it stopped. why is it just now doing this? the only difference
from this summer and last is i'm currently running 93 octane and last
summer i was running 92. i'm stumped. but the car has been driving
fine the past few days. even a few long trips(bout 250 miles round
trippers).
