Ben's Fuel Pump

Ben,

I have heard that the late model twin turbo RX7 fuel pump is an easy fit and of particularly good performance. If you have ever had a fuel pump out, you would understand that it is pretty easy to fashion damn near any pump in, just as long as it fits in the fuel tank hole.

I am pleased with my Walbro unit that I got from JC Sports. I think I paid around $150 and I believe that street value is around $120. I was warned that it would be significantly noisier, but I have not noticed that.

Whatever you do with fuel pumps, be sure to solder and wire around that piece of crap white electrical connector under the back seat. That damn thing cooks and adds resistance to the fuel pump of every Legacy Turbo ever built.
