Hello

I have a 93 Legacy Wagon. The doors automatically lock when I drive
faster than about 5 mile per hour (8ish km per hour) does anyone know
how I can disable this without stuffing up my central locking /
keyless entry etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a standard feature on JDM cars. ECU somehow tells doors to lock. When my speedo cable came off it didn't do it. I believe this sort of feature is becoming commonplace (at least in Europe anyway).

Yes I do. I think that the doors automatically lock on the Legacys
that have been imported into my country (New Zealand) from Japan.
(Not sold new in New Zealand that is)

This was a standard feature on some of the Legacy's, without an
alarm. Not sure how you would disconnect though.
