Tranny Cooler

New topic: I have ordered a tranny oil cooler for my auto. I have the room to install it between the AC and water rads. The rough domensions are 3/4" thick, a length of 16" and a height of 7". This should prove to keep temps down this summer - especially with my 1/8 mile drag fun which includes the good old 'brake launch'. I'm planning to install this thing tomorrow night and want to know about coolant line config. I do have the tranny filter in place and have located the tranny cooler lines in and out of the water rad. Should I bypass the existing rad cooler or should I run them in series? I know there are other options as well... what do you guys think?
Thanks!

I have installed the cooler. Kept the existing one in the loop. I have definately lowered oil temps and when running hard with a few friends I don't have the usual visit from Mr. Slip!

All external coolers should be on the outside of the radiators, to have
maximum affect. :-) Dan
