legacycentral bbs

since im rebuilding this motor... i want to ad an external oil cooler. i know i have the water line that runs through the filter and all, but i want one of those little radiators that pump and all... now staring at the pump i see the two downwards pipes with plugs in them and the one in the middle that faces diagonally up.

what is involved in installing an external cooler? can i just remove these plugs and run lines to a cooler mnounted up front? or do i have to remove some bypass?
