There's an Audi front mount intercooler on ebay for $85. It measures
3 1/2 x 7 1/4 x 19 1/4, nice big heat sink :-). Will this fit under
the hood? is it possible to front mount it into a sport sedan? And is
it bad for the inlet/outlet tubes to be so long?

Thanks,
Mark

Does it fit in a legacy turbo?

There is no reason it shouldn't.. It's definately a Do it your self
project. you'll have to get new custom hoses and such to get it to
hook up right but it's not a complicated issue.

Hi there,

Could you give me the dimensions? It looks a little worn in the
photo. Have you tested it for leaks? Also are they paintable?

Thanks,
Mark

Um i can.. i'l have those by Monday.. in the picture i put a dollar bill
so hopefully that gives you some idea of size..

thats just the photo.. the part is in good condition. it is still greasy
from the car it was in..

Have you tested it for leaks?

No i haven't.. but untill i got a pair of Saab intercoolers it was going
to be my primary intercooler for my legacy. all i can tell you was i
paid 55 bucks for it. it is from a junk yard, and i am the one who
removed it.. very carefully mind you as I didn't want to damage it for
the same reasons..

Also are they paintable?

I have idea.. i was going to stencil out STI and airbrush onto the
grill work.. but i wasen't going to Coat the bugger.. i would think
that would be bad??? i'm not sure,,
