I'd like a 2.75 to 3 inch system all the way through, especially a
downpipe. Are aftermarket WRX parts interchangable? Or will I have to
go the custom route?

Mark - a WRX downpipe works just fine (any aftermarket one), and from there, you'll just makea donwpipe back section..I just installed the HKS downpipe tonight on my car, along with the new tubro..now just trying to figure out wher all these damned vacuum lines go so I can wrap up the IC and go home ;(

All I had to do on the downpipe is extend the 02 sensor wire. Tomorrow I am going to ahve teh cat back made up, and I already got a Tanabe universal Hiper Medallion muffler (2.5 inlet) that I am going to use with a high flow 2.5 inch cat.
