Don't get bodywork done on the side...

As some may know, I put a new bumper on my Legacy a few months ago. I work at a Toyota dealer, and I paid some guy $75 on the side to paint the bumper I got from the dealer.

Well, I took a trip yesterday and demolecularized a few unidentified insects all over the front bumper  I went to wash the car off today, and as I was hosing the bumper off, a ~3-inch chunk of paint flew off the bumper!!! I could already see where it was slightly peeling by the molding. So apparently he didn't seal it right before painting it. And furthermore, I can't whine to the guy who painted it, coz 1) it was under the table and 2) he got fired a couple months ago! So soon I'm just going to get the bumper repainted correctly and probably get the left front fender repainted and set right, since it's got a few screw-ups on it and is not flush with the hood near the windshield...

If I can, I'll try to get a pic to show off this hideous black spot on my bumper...

Yup, the flexible plastic bits need to have a special clear primer applied for the paint to stick, without it the paint is worthless.
