Well we got abit of snow today. I got a sudden urge to take the turbo out for a rip. Shes was tucked away for the winter (I cant bear to drive her in the salt) I know I know, but after working on it for 2 years I cant do it. But hey, since they don't salt subdivisions in Ottawa (I think Ontario too) anymore, and since mine is quite big with alot of intersections and twisty wooded roads I figured what the hell. Hehe I love this thing wow!!! The turbo 5spd and LSD combination feels sooooo much better then the normal auto Legacy's Im accustomed to driving. Accelerating I could hear vroooom pshhhhh vroooooommm pshhhhh from the tyres spinning. I call myself the all time local king over drift turning now mwhahhaah.

HAHAHA! In the second picture you can tell where the tail light bulbs warmed the plastic lenses. . . .

That happens... my lights get covered with salt all the time in the winter, even when the rest of the car is more or less clean, because salty water splashes on them and quickly evaporates due to the heat instead of flowing off.

LegacyT, do you have the center taillight thing removed? I've always wanted to get rid of it but it leaves a bunch of ugly holes... I also like the cleared turn signals, best free mod ever!

LegacyT actually had the car repainted. Looks as tho he just painted the center piece to match the rest of the car.
BTW . . . LegacyT. Is that the stock pearl white? Looks more like the white of my 97GT (alpine white). Much brighter!!
You're makin me wish we had snow around here again. We got a snowstorm but the snow didn't last for more than a few hours around here.
WE NEED ANOTHER BLIZZARD LIKE LAST YEAR!!

I thought he custom fabricated the rear piece. Pretty sure I remember him saying (typing) that.

The center peice was painted body color. I removed the chrome strips (because they stick out and have rubber strips) on the center bar then cut and glued in some replacement plastic, just so that it was barely flush with the whole surface. Then I used abit of filler to smooth out the whole surface. Then primed and painted. The original paint color was pearl white, but I wanted more of a pure white color, instead of the yellowishy pearl white. Besides, pearl colors are astronomically expensive to have done. So I chose Aspen White, same color found on 2.5 RSs and such.
