Go Laurel!

What did she have done to her teeth?

Let's just say she had a tooth mod that wasn't a bolt-on. So some drilling had to be done. :(

Which reminds me, I'll be going in for much the same thing in less than a month. :?

Wisdom teeth? Those aren't fun. Nice pain killers, though.

Jesus, I remember those empathy butterflies...

Well, I guess that's one good thing about being single.

the dentist put a "silver" filling in my mouth even though i specifically asked for ceramic, and now I have toxic metals in my mouth. Needless to say I'm switching dentists, and I have to go through the whole process again to fix what should have been done in the first place

Well, was just thinking about it since you'll be living less than 15 minutes from there in the next several months.

i thought about that, i'll talk it over with my mother, but as of now, I still need some work done, and my mom needs a dentist as well.

It's all good. . .. just trying to be helpful.

If she needs it, tell your mother he's Efim Tulchinsky, DDS. . . . he's been practicing longer than I can remember (and that's saying a lot) and he comes HIGHLY recommended. :)

And Leanne is one of the best dental hygenists in the area. . . VERY gentle and has been doing her job for at least 10 years. . . probably closer to 15.

Damn. . . I got the dental connections! :P

Hey, I have a silver filling, didn't know it was toxic, oh well. Ill second the dentists suck motion, why do they have to jab your gums with sharp objects??? :x

A lot of 'em just aren't that skilled... When they clean your teeth and they have to scrape, they shouldn't miss and hit your gums but a lot of them do.

I haven't been to a dentist in almost 10 years...

Now before you all swear that you never want to see me in person, or at least not get within 10 feet of me when I breathe , I do have pretty healthy teeth. Just a good brushing every day and some mouthwash go a long way.

Dentists are shrewd operators. You don't come in occasionally for a checkup. Everytime you go, you have some huge cavity that needs to be taken care of next week. And I'm pretty sure that these cavities are somewhat related to the myriad of chemicals they use that not only clean the plaque and buildup off your teeth, but most of the enamel as well!

I do have a cavity in my front tooth right now, I can feel it when I drink something cold. But I will probably just make one visit to the dentist soon to have it fixed and that will be the end of that...

It's a shame that people that stupid have that much money to spend. Kind of makes me want for a kind of socialism where the government would give idiots like that the poor-paying menial jobs they deserve and the intelligent and underfunded are appropriately challenged and compensated.
