Boost controller, MRT, Apexi, + part throttle/full boost?...

Hello all...(I hope this is in the right section, do we need an engine management section, or should this be in electrical or turbo?)
I'm thinking about getting a boost controller for my car. I have found a good deal on this, MRT TMS3 Boost Controller, it includes a turbo timer, in car display/controller w/ boost and peak hold. It controls 2 functions like waterspray and nitrous. Fully electronic, solenoid controlled, high and low safety settings, and linear boost control from controller. Comes with its own MAP sensor, can control a electronic blow off/emergency relief valve.
Its seems like a really good deal, I won't have to by a turbo timer, can put off a boost guage, etc.
Of course, its probably not much more for a used apexi avc-r. They monitor IDC's, and have high/low throttle boost control I believe, as well as gear and rpm specific boost control. Nice gauge functions too.
A major reason I really am thinking about going with an EBC is because I'm still worried about the partial throttle full boost lean run issue with MBCs. I'm not totally positive that most EBC's can address this. Maybe the apexi, I don't know about the MRT. Can only full engine management, or a factory ecu remap address this?
And what do you guys think about which boost controller I should go with?
thanks
