hello all,
i'm considering doing an ej20tt conversion into a 92 wagon

. i was just wondering what sort of mods would be needed (i.e mounts, fire-wall!, etc)
ej20tts are dirt cheap here in oz, i was wondering what this means quality/reliability wise? any opinions and facts would be appreciated
Cheers Boys

You wont find much help here, since many of us are from america and perhaps 10 TT subarus exist here. Perhaps the guys in EU can help.

Thanks anyway,
Any information would be great as i havent actually purchased my subie. i'm just throwin round a few ideas on engine, suspensin and gearbox setup. i only got onto this site yesterday and thought i'd throw in a few questioons i've had for a while.
i guess most of you guys are just running the 22t's eh? i'm not sure about the availability of those over here. what sort of mods do you think to do a conversion into a stock, say, gx wagon with a 22t?

yeh i was talkin to a few blokes at one of the local jap import shops and he said the TT's a fairly common engine but needs some mount mods to make it fit. dunno bout this, but the bloke said it might just bolt onto the stocker 5 speed? any thoughts? ($2500 for the halfcut, $1700 for the engine alone)
Managed to score a set of Razo peddles of a 99 STi while i was there

$30 bucks! hell yeah. wanted the wheel aswell but it was orready taken.
