Wiring Harnesses

Why did they change the wiring harness between 91 and 92 for the radio? besides the obvious plan to keep me from listening to illegally downloaded mp3's.

Uh... I don't think they did. I was pretty sure all BC/BFs had the same radio harness.
I know my 1991 Legacy L had the same one as my 93 turbos both did.

the harness for my 91 L is different from the one on my 92 Turbo... perhaps it's another one of those quirky LE things.

Is it possible that a previous owner cut off the stock harness (of either of the cars) and wired in a different one?
What do they look like? This is what I thought all BC/BFs had:

My 92 and 91 turbos both were Identical
The Only difference between them was the antenna wire.

perhaps the stock harness is cut in the 92..... my family's had the 91 since it was new

it was in the stock deck very tight, and I didnt realize that it came out the first time I looked. after speaking with art last night, this afternoon i looked again, and it came out.
