These pics look a little strange because of the Armor All but here's my new CD player.







I love how I can use the cup holder now. I still need to get my .5 din pocket for the top (Bestbuy didn't have them, I need to go to Circuit City).

Interesting. I never really thought to switch the radio and pocket locations!

I put my radio at the bottom too, for the same reason.

Now my cupholder obscures my boost gauge. But, if I'm using the cupholder I'm unlikely to need to refer to the boost gauge.

Armor all bad! Silicon based products bad!

When these "dry" they leave a white residue that really only goes away when you put another coating on top. In addition, they fill in any small pores of the dash, potentially leading to it drying out and cracking. dried out, cracked dash bad!

Otherwise, I like it!

Ya, I like it a lot. To move the pocket with the door up there I had to drill mounting holes in the metal mounting bracket though. It was well worth the extra 5 minutes though!

Hehe, ya, that's true. I won't have that problem though.

No you don't

My radio is on the bottom also. Main reason? I'd like to be able to load a CD while having a cup in the holder.

My headunit Part dos should be up fairly soon. Just a matter of a trip to the trash pile and a bit of elbow grease.

oilve oil on your dash, it will never crack a light coat thow.

problem with that nico, is that the olive oil is reflective. Light will bounce off your dash, onto your window. Your eye will catch the reflectance and make it difficult to see.

I also moved mine to the lower spot. I have the 1.5 din pocket mounted upside down for my e-01.
