These pics look a little strange because of the Armor All but here's my new CD player.

I love how I can use the cup holder now. :D I still need to get my .5 din pocket for the top (Bestbuy didn't have them, I need to go to Circuit City).

Interesting. I never really thought to switch the radio and pocket locations!

Nice.

I put my radio at the bottom too, for the same reason. :)

Now my cupholder obscures my boost gauge. But, if I'm using the cupholder I'm unlikely to need to refer to the boost gauge.

Armor all bad! Silicon based products bad!

When these "dry" they leave a white residue that really only goes away when you put another coating on top. In addition, they fill in any small pores of the dash, potentially leading to it drying out and cracking. dried out, cracked dash bad!

Otherwise, I like it!

What do you recommend then Jason?

(Ask and ye shall recieve!) Admittedly, I'm a bit biased. But that's only for a day and a half more, as I'm leaving this company for a different job. The following is a non-paid service announcement from the company who is paying me to play on the internet right now:

For to make the plastic look pretty ooh-ahh, then polish it with Plastic Polish by Griot's Garage: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=11186. This will give it that brand new satin luster-type look. Fun and clean and not slippery or sticky!

For cleaning of the areas, use Interior Cleaner. Also good for cleaning the carpets, leather, upholstery, shoes, your bald spot, and blue dresses of presidental interns: http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.jsp?searchtext=11104. Use it to clean the dash prior to polishing the plastic as well as prior to treating or "dressing" the upper portions.

To dress the Vinyl & Rubber (dashboard and tyres and door seals) use Vinyl and Rubber Dressing! How aptly named! (not for use on the rubber you use with your girlfriend!) http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.jsp?searchtext=11173. This -amazing- dressing is silicone free and does not harm or dry out the areas you treat. Also provides a satin finish. If you want gloss, just apply another coating once the first has dried. To extend the life of the product, use the Blue Detail Sponges (you see those? down there to the bottom right of the page). A set of two is available for only $4.95.

hehehe.. even better! redundancy and repeat phrasing! One of the best marketing and advertising techniques. Thank you for repeating the links for the PLASTIC POLISH, INTERIOR CLEANER, and VINYL & RUBBER DRESSING.

Repetition is the root of all learning; I learned that when teaching from my professor. When you give a lecture, you tell them what you're going to tell them, then you tell them, then you tell them what you told them.

Ya, I like it a lot. To move the pocket with the door up there I had to drill mounting holes in the metal mounting bracket though. It was well worth the extra 5 minutes though! :D

Hehe, ya, that's true. I won't have that problem though.

No you don't ;)

My radio is on the bottom also. Main reason? I'd like to be able to load a CD while having a cup in the holder.

My headunit Part dos should be up fairly soon. Just a matter of a trip to the trash pile and a bit of elbow grease.

oilve oil on your dash, it will never crack a light coat thow.

problem with that nico, is that the olive oil is reflective. Light will bounce off your dash, onto your window. Your eye will catch the reflectance and make it difficult to see.

I also moved mine to the lower spot. I have the 1.5 din pocket mounted upside down for my e-01.
