When was the last time you did a tune up? Are you flooring it at 4000, or are you just modestly on your gas pedal? How full was your tank?
We need some more information

Well I would definately look at your fuel filter and see if that helps. They aren't that much money. I see you have a n/a car so there isn't much in the way of turbo problems that you could be having. I would probably check the fuel filter first and see how that helps things.

where is the fuel filter located at?

Mine is located under the hood just in front of the brake fluid bottle. There is one line coming into it, and one going out. It is a cylinder shaped thing next to the driver's side strut tower.

Maybe fuel cut? I doubt it though, maybe just hesitation.
My hesitation was caused by a bad seal around the TB. That was actually the cause for a LOT of my problems.

I'd bet fuel filter, too. Its about a 4" diam cylinder with the two lines on the top about maybe 6" high.

i dont think its the fuel filter because it still has power when i floor it. maybe its a misfire. its just annoying to have this. oh it only does it once in a while once the engine is at operating temp.

Whenever mine goes it only causes problems with off-line hesitation. I replace it about every 20K which is about how long it takes for it to give me the hesitation.
