I need to know if it fits, i am swapping my engine soon and i only have automatic trans starters, i'm keeping the manual tranny. Thanks for any fast answer

but yeah I was just about to update that. I believe it was vikash that said the lengths were different, and he was right. The at starter doesnt extend as far at the mt starter because the teeth are on the torque converter, which is farther away from the engine than the flywheel, and not the driveplate.

I dont believe so, but I think the reason it wony is because it doesnt have a lower bolt hole. Or it has the hole and the wrx tranny doesnt have the stud. Something like that. Basically any ej-series starter is interchangeable.

Thanks for the help guys, but i'll just use the old starter i had since i'm using the 4.111 tranny.
