New interior

I am on a quest to redo my entire interior with dark blue. I think there are enough junkers around here to do it. Is the carpet extremly difficult to replace?

Also where would i go about getting a new/used set of seats for the front. Are the wrx ones pretty straight forward bolt on? If not are there any that are?

You might be able to get nicer carpet that would match from a carpet place. The blue might look weird with the green. Very earthy, though. I personally like the dark blue best - the least generic dark color.

Carpet is easy to replace, just have to take almost all the the interior out (which isn't hard at all).

is your interior tan or something? I dont think i've ever heard of someone wanting a blue interior.

wrx seats bolt right in... almost. they'll go in, but the seatbelts tend to slide back beyond easy reach, and there's a piece of metal that sticks out wierd in back

The blue ages much better too. I couldn't believe how much newer and more expensive mine looked to my sister's beige. You can get anythig for carpet, though. Just remove your old one to use as a template. I don't even think you'd have to sew the edges as you'd be tucking them under trim pieces anyway unless you do the back of a wagon.

The black looks nice, but I think it's just so generic.

I heard its all a myth from some disappointed women. Though I'm sure with Shaq it's more than true!

UGH! I have that same Peanutbutter interior...Image
I gotta ditch it too. I hate it. Peanutbutter interiors should be illegal... or available only upon request.

IMHO the dash and steering wheel will probably be your biggest headache when replacing the interior... I have had every other piece of my interior out before and it IS really easy to remove... well... those A,B, and C pillar trim pieces actually do suck to remove...... unless I just do it wrong...

I accidentally let it rain really hard in my car for about 5 hours once...There was standing water on the floors about 1.5 - 2 inches deep... luckily only the passenger windows were down. I had to rip out the whole interior and drove it with only a driver's seat for several days while my interior was hanging in a barn drying. um.... oops
