Essential Electronics?

Hey, im just wondering what kind of electronic gizmos would be a good idea to have. So far I can just think of:
Turbo Timer, so I don't have to wait in my car all the time
EBC, thinking about a Greddy profec B spec 2 or something, something with 2 boost settings, sick of my MBC cause it makes my car feel jerky when I accelerate
there anything else?

Turbo timer is generally not considered good around here. Car should be in gear at all times when parked is the feeling. Plus, the way the cooling lines on the turbo are setup, it's being cooled even when the car is off, until the coolant cools off.
For an EBC, get a Turbosmart E-Boost. It vastly out performs the Profec B. There is NO competition.
Otherwise, that's really it. Maybe an SAFC or something, but that won't do much for very long as the ECU will learn around it (or so I am told).

Cool, just a boost controller it is then, just need my funds to increase

Seriously, get the E-Boost. It's worth every penny.
What do the Profec B's run?

100 something, last I checked.

Oh, that's a lot less than the E-Boost, but the E-boost is 5x better for the 4x increase in cost.

or maybe that was the first profec, oh well. The blitz dual sbc sounds good, $320

Nah, E-Boost.
Why do I speak so highly of it?
A) High and low boost settings.
B) Gear dependant settings. You want 9psi in 1st and 2nd, 14 in 3rd, and 19 in 4th and 5th, then you've got it.
C) (best of all) The E-boost holds the wastegate shut until desired boost is acheived. That means super fast spool times (as ALL exhaust is going through the turbine), and it means less boost creep (as the wastegate is closed, you don't get any air bleed through the wastegate).
D) Boost Gauge with peak hold.
$400, but $400 well spent. When I go EBC, it'll definately be the E-Boost.
Oh, and best of all, it's 2 1/16 diameter, so it fits in a gauge pod.

It's circular? sounds like a quality boost controller. I like the fact that it keeps the wastegate shut. Sweet, whats another 100 bucks anyway.

Yea, it's circular! It looks dope
It's 2 5/8" diameter, my bad
Still sweet though. I'm not sure what the bar graph is for, but I think it's turbo spool and how far from full-boost it is.
It's also got an audible warning, which you can set as an overboost beep, or a full-boost confirmation or something similar, it's fully programable.

Sounds pretty easy to install too.

Now that, I wouldn't know. It's probably pretty easy, but I've never done it, so take that for what it's worth.
When I do go EBC, I'll be going E-Boost, that's for sure.

Just read an audospeed article on it, they put it on a 94 WRX.
