What's the scoop?

I've gotta do it, so I want tips.

Do I need to fuse it? How should I connect up front to the stock terminal areas? Ground to trunk? Where?

Grounding is easy to the bolt for the rear bumper beam. It's under a plastic cover below the carpet.
