Why?

I have been curious about this for a little while.

Why won't an S-AFC or a Greddy EManage work in our cars? What about them throws a red-flag to the ECU and cause problems?

Just a little curious.

Me too. I think they would work, but no one i've heard of has done any extensive testing.

Why do you say they wouldn't work? I don't know of any reason why they wouldn't...I'd love to be corrected though, considering I'm thinking about picking one up...

You got me. It's just something I've been hearing.

They don't really do much good with stock fuel delivery. At any boost you'd really NEED the control, you are maxing the IDC and need more fuel to control.

I don't know about the greedy unit, but to my understanding with the s-afc it's only beneficial under WOT conditions, and that the ECU learns around it in part throttle and closed loop situations.

I don't know if that holds true with our cars, but if all the s-afc or greedy unit does is alter the signals to the ECU.....I don't see why it wouldn't work.

But how does the ECU learn around it is my question?

Vikash, where are you!?
