Oops, I bwoke it. (Crank position sensor)

I pulled the oil pump yesterday and couldn't get the crank angle sensor out. So, I stuck a prybar against the pump and the little bolt nub on the sensor. Pushed, and POP went the nub.
When it broke off, it took some of the casing off and exposed what was inside.
I'm asking if I should continue to use the sensor, use the sensor and seal it up (with RTV or find the nub and JB weld it on?) or buy a new sensor. A new sensor costs $200 from Subaru I think!
Can I use a sensor from a WRX? They're only about 20 bucks, but I'm not sure if its compatible. Help?
