When I took out the 2 front seats each one had a seat bolt with a nut on the other side of the carpet?? It didn't look factory at all I think these bolts were tach welded to the floor. Beside the strange bolts and some tools and rags that were under there it's not bad.. The rust is worst around the foot rest which looks easy to take out.. I was very surprized at how light the seats and carpet were.. took me about an hour.].

I had all week to check my floors and under my front seats for rust...
I'm kicking myself for not doing it.
Maybe whe the car comes back from the bodyshop before I put the headliner back in I'll have a looksee.

Did you have a leaking sunroof.? How hard is it to remove the headliner.?

Took about an hour as well, pretty simple to do really...
Just about taking the pillar trims off, removing the front upper seatbelt bolt, maplight, visors, HFBars, dome light.
from there it just pretty much pops out.
Putting it back in, alone, might be more difficult than taking it out.
I have/had a gaping hole in my roof, not just a leaky sunroof...

I found something strange also. While I was removing the carpet on my drivers side, taking out a handsfree cell phone kit that was in it from the previous owner, I found a toy horse stuck inbetween the carpet and bottom of the center console. Weird? I have a VERY leaky moon/sun roof. Whenever i stop it pours forward and directly on my head. Found it out when going to work. Here's a topic post with all the info on the fix, have yet to do it, but is high on the priority list. I live in cleveland, when does it not rain?
