In the next couple of weeks, once I get all the rebuild parts purchased, i will be pulling the engine out of my 90 legacy sedan, pulling the heads, reinstalling rebuilt heads I already have, pulling the pistons out, installing new rings, hooking it all back up and reinstalling it. I will also be installing anew clutch (the whole reason I am pulling the engine in the first place).

So if you are interested in watching, learning and maybe participating, hook up here by posting your interest and I will inform you of the date I am actually going to do this.

I have pulled about a total of 6 engines so far and replaced about 8-9 clutches so I sort of know what I am doing.

I wish I was local. I may soon have a project block that needs the pistons pulled and ring replaced. It would be nice to participate/learn before attempting this on my own. Rebuilding heads and rebuilding a bottom end are about the only two automotive endeavors I have never untertaken. It has always been easier/cheaper to go to the importer and buy a used longblock or heads than to rebuild. But with custom builds rebuiding is required...
