Is power breaking really really bad for the tranny?

Power braking meaning standing on the brakes and bringing the revs up then dumping the brakes and going WOT?

It puts a lot of stress on the torque converter and the brakes, but that's about it. I wouldn't make a habit of it...

without a cooler, yes its pretty bad, even with a cooler it's still bad.

I wouldn't make a habit of it either. I only do it when i go to the dragstip.
