Not quite so disgusted...

Well I went to a party last night on the outskirts of town, so I drove the car out instead of the truck. It was nice driving the car again. (despite the a/c compressor knocking) Since I hadn't driven it in a little while it didn't really seem to annoy me with the issues, and the handling/driving is far better then the truck.

I guess it's one of those things, if you take a little time away from something, and go back to it, you'll realize how much more you liked it.....or how much you hated it...haha.

I just need to move out of houston so I can have some good roads near by.

I feel ya. My Legacy was out for a month this summer and I had to drive my moms Toyota Corolla around. It was sooooo nice to get my car back. Its like night and day.

If you took the belt off of the AC would it stop knocking until you get it fixed?

It doesn't knock if I don't run the AC. So that's not a problem. I can just not run the AC if I don't want it to knock......that's really not an option in Houston however ;)

Man up, Josh. I'm in Florida and haven't had working a/c in my Legacy for a year and a half now ;)

j/k

I miss both of my cars when I haven't driven it for a while. I'm already missing my Legacy from the broken PCV fitting, and I just drove it Wednesday...

I'm missing mine too. My 4EAT is going out (no 2nd gear) and I can't really get on it like I used to. All the other gears seem to slip sometimes too. It sucks bad. Then it's going to be out for a while 'til I'm done converting it to 5MT from a non-turbo legacy for now (that's all I can find around here in CO.)

So you'll have a similar setup to mine.

I miss driving my black turbo 4eat. I'm trying to get in to a position where I can have it semi-refurbished because I want to drive it again. Everytime I go look at it where it's stored I feel a tinge of pain at seeing it sit. At least I make sure to take it for a drive every week. I'm hoping to get it back on the road in the next two months. When I do get back on the road, I'll try to make sure it not only runs like a top but looks sweet too.
