Reupholster or not to Reupholster

I recently went to a shop specializing in sunroofs and reupholstering. I had them fix the middle of the rear seat because it had torn severely. They did not have the sample fabric for a Legacy Sport from '94, or any other year for that matter, so I chose a section of cloth from a Mazda that matched very well. They charged about $110 for everything, which isn't too bad. Anyways I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had their entire car reupholstered. I was kinda considering it in the next couple of years because the fabric is kinda worn and, lets face it, not all that attractive. Do you think that it will cost an arm and a leg to custom reupholster the entire car? Also, how is the fabric on the doors held on, just glued? Comments, thoughts. Thanks.

I'm going to do headliner at some point (or at least I'd like to). I'm thinking fake suede with custom smoked acrylic sunvisors. My interior is in really good shape, though and I like the cloth (which is solid blue - no weird patterns) so I think I'lll leave that.

The cloth on the doors is just glued on. That I have been thnking of changing, too, but maybe when and if I do the headliner I'll use the same fabric for to replace it. If I ever get an '84 coupe I'll do custom door cards and leave it flat and plain like an old sports car.
