If you don't waste as much time as I do on the other suby boards, you missed this kid
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... e=1&pp=25k
Apparently his throttle stuck in 3rd gear and he drove through a house. Make sure to check out his other accidents later in the thread. His "turbo spooled up" when he was going 12mph and he hit a parked SUV bushing it over a curb, and an another SUV gave him a little bit of the Pitt maneuver. I'd rant more but I've got to watch WRC Australia, damn for narrow gravel roads. (Edit) Damn Solberg is out

(Edit-Edit) Solberg is still in but out of the running, some of the roads look like MTB Singletrack.....Wow

I've been wondering if anyone here has seen that. Here's a warning though: that thread is the longest I've ever seen-32 pages!
It looks to me that he just didn't see there was anything in front of him, like he fell asleep, or too busy getting road head.<(not that I'm against that!) Watch the video in there if you can find it. It shows the road he was traveling on. He just went straight. If he was aiming for the fence, wouldn't you think he would've turned the steering wheel?

I can’t resist but to add this: Even though I am a fledgling member of this forum, I would like to compliment the majority of the regular posters on their level of maturity. There are a quite a few of the teen/20 somethings around here, but in the amount of time I read posts on this forum (even before I joined myself), I didn’t pick up much of the cowboy “go like balls” reckless mentality that exists elsewhere. I like the fact that the majority of the people who regularly post here maintain a higher level of common sense and responsibility.
This is not to say it doesn’t ever pop up, but I’m impressed. I’m also thankful that this forum doesn’t see near the amount of horseshit, teniebopper, “red racer,” I-have-no-fucking-clue-how-to-drive, colossal mishaps that are all over the other boards. I thank you all for your daily dose of shop-talk sanity, and for your “daddy didn’t buy me this” attitude that makes this forum a step above.
Natural selection is a marvelous thing, Darwin/Wallace knew their shit; it doesn’t take long for the retards within a population to weed themselves out. It’s a good thing that kid didn’t crash into my house, since the accident didn’t kill him, I would have.
Cheers
Morgan

I agree fishbone. Our demographic age on this board, I'm very rougly estimating, is around 25. Most 25-year-olds on NASIOC are lost to the world of real car enthusiasm, they ultimately just wanna show off, and by making such dumb mistakes, ruin their whole lives. If I may say so myself, we take a more responsible approach to speed and racing, in which we know our limits and do it merely for our own enjoyment, no one else's.
I'll stop there because I will just start ranting from here forward
