Update on the Touring Wagon

I spent quite a bit of time yesterday making cookies, I even make legacy wagon shaped cookies, to bring to the body shop that has my car, hoping to get some good news.
They haven't even touched it.
I mean, they've begun taking it apart, but had to order more parts. The used parts didn't come through, and they've finally given up on getting them. So now the body shop is waiting to hear back from the adjuster to see if they'll authorize getting new parts. Ugh. I feel sick to my stomach being faced with this again. I hope insurance doesnt decide to total it after this long. I just bought wheels and an intercooler to go on too. If any of you have spare front end parts that are in decent condition i may be quite interested in them.

RRRRR!!! I wish I could give you my pre-facelift frontend.
But that, alas, won't work. I know how you feel though. Damn Exploders.
..well, unless you want to be the touring wagon with the 91 front end. Let me know, and you can most likely get it for cheap

go to that junkyard i told you about a while ago laurel, Roy Y, they have plenty of legacys and i'm sure you could piece together a front end. the only problem i see you having is with the hood. if you cant get all the way out there, i might be able to go tomorrow afternoon. let me know

when i went to get estimates for my car last year i was at a body shop and there was a marron 94 touring wagon in the back that had been there for years. its still there and the owner still insists on getting it fixed but not with new parts. too expensive

i'd be quite interested if you could find parts for it.
If not, she'll likely be totalled... HOw much you want for your front end tristan?

Spoke with the body shop again, they got okayed for the additional parts, so they bought them, and have started the work. They didnt tell insurance how much it was going to cost though, but it's too late for ins. to stop them. Fabulous!
