So I finally pulled the G-Tech out of the rubbish on the work table and tried it out again tonight.

Gave me an average best of 149 hp. Aint bad. That would mean I have about 200-220 crank hp which would make sense. 130 stock hp plus 70-90 additional boost hp. We will see how this wrings out versus the Mustang Dyno I hope to do in the next 30 days.

I've been thinking about getting one of those. Sounds like it's pretty accurate, and it's better than paying for 6 pulls on the dyno.

3 pulls at MAC were like 60 bones. That's pretty decent IMO.

I wish it were that cheap here. Since I am not "tuning" and just want hp readout, I don't really want to spend $125 for an hour.

you should find a friend w/a stock ej22 na wagon and stick that thing in there for a rough comparison.

I'll do it in my wifes car. She has a "rebuilt" sedan.

I'm paying $100 bucks for a 40 minute slot (3 to 4 pulls) with A/F readout.

Not the cheapest I've ever seen, but reasonable and it's a Dyno Day, so I get to hang out with all my Subaru friends from all over the Mid-A.

There will be video from my dyno run.

I got somewhere around 80 HP when I G-Tech'd mine years ago. They seem to be pretty sensitive to road angle.

I might be getting a free dyno run (I HOPE!). My brother sold his wrecked Jetta to Matrix Integrated and we are trying to get a dyno run included in the price!

Well, still don't have a real dyno run, but I have fixed some belt problems by reworking the custom alternator pulley so now have much less belt slip.

Pulled a 159 g-tech reading.

I think I am going to have to upgrade SC intake and exhaust header before I upgrade pulley. That alone should give me some serious hp upgrade.

Still need to "prove it" via dyno though.

I'm glad I have a turbo car. :)

But no adventure in the boring slow average turbo subie. You get in a drive around. No chance of breaking down, or breaking down or wondering what is wrong, or breaking down.

Ha ha, Actually for all my bitching, I have only been stranded once. Not bad for all the crap that I have done and tried.

I've only had to tow the car once. I've had the same problem twice, which necessitated nearly calling a tow truck. First time, my insurance company wouldn't send one (those bastards). Second time, they sent one and I got towed home.

Get that thing on the dyno!

I have AAA. :)

I also don't spend countless hours working on my car repairing stuff that's constantly breaking

I raced an SS silverado a few nights ago. I was bringing my friend home (extra 225lbs.) and came across it. I didn't think I would have a chance but my friend said I should try. :?

We both started at a roll and then hit it. I took him in every gear. He caught back up to me and we went again from 40. Took him again, just pulled on him. A third time from a stop at another light, and more of the same.

When we got to my friends' house we looked on the internet. Turns out those are full time AWD, which would explain why I didn't totally rape him of the line that third time. They have 345hp, 380 torque, and They run a 14.8 1/4. I was pretty supprised to say the least.

And all that without the intercooler I have listed. It won't fit anymore with the clutch fluid reservior. I had it in for a day but I didn't like how cramed it was in there, plus I think there was a leak in the home made piping I was using (felt slower and running very rich.

I didn't enjoy the loud bursts of air comming from the blow-off valve between shifts either. Never thought I would say that.

So I'll be selling a WRX intercooler if anyone wants one for their auto turbo legacys.
