The VIN doesn't come up through carfax :(

It won't - foreign VINs don't call up. You can't grey market cars on it either.

Hey I know that car. It's at my base here. I sat in a tower 50 feet from it and figured out what it was. He lied it's not at a palace, it's the former Iraqi Olympic training compound. Complete with torture rooms for the loosers, no shit. I thought about getting the engine for a sand rail but I don't know how I would ship it home.

Yeah, I'll pretty much take anything, if you can send it home with anyone from Fort Lewis... ;)

Very understandable... but still, in one piece its a few hundred grand worth of machinery, like that its not worth a dime... I'd try to drive it away first, if that didn't work, how often do you get to smash up a ferrari?

I would be sad, but it's only a 456GT

If it had been a 365 Daytona, I'd be a little more pissed

I think it's a Maranello.

wtf? I thought I replied?

It looks more like a 550 Maranello. My favorite recent Ferrari :)

Ahh yes, I wasn't looking at the back fender properly.

Waaah! They destroyed a Maranello! I too love them, the first FR car to ever go above 200mph.

I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Chicago one winter.

I didn't have my license or learners, but my uncle let me drive his Brand new Jaguar in a parking lot. We were in the rain, and it was awesome.

He then took me to the local Ferrari dealership, and talked to the owner. I got to sit in the 550. It was the most beautiful car I'd ever sat in. He bought me a Ferrari T-shirt that says "550 Maranello" on the chest, with the horse on the back and Ferrari down the sleeve. That was probably 5 years ago, maybe more. I still have the shirt in my closet. It even fits still! I'll never forget that day.

Then last year, I jumped got the OK to go behind the velvet rope at the DC International Autoshow to sit in this:

Fully race prepped 360.

Well I'll see what I can do about a few bits off it. Laurel Ft Lewis is my first stop in the USA when I leave here. I'll be there a week or two but I'm not sure if they will let us out much.
If you know anything about cars you know it's special just by the way it looks. Look at the way it is built, not cheap you can tell it's a low production high cost car.

Yes he was that much of an ASS. I personaly know Iraqi's that have family missing last seen with special police, a woman who's husband was killed by Saddam and her daughter was forbiden to marry.
