I kind of like the look of the 92 rears in that they do not have the orange in them. So, I scrounged a pair for cheap at the yard.
Trying to decide if I want to keep them.

The 92s look better and work better.

I'm a bit partial to the clears on the 92 myself.
You don't really want to put them on your 93 though do you? Then your 93 will look like a 92.

I personally prefere the amber, I know the functionality decreases slightly but the astetics (sp?) to me are more appealing without the clear.

I have the 92 tails on my 94. Looks much better. I'm actually going to go the full-9, and remove the amber insert alltogether, and use a Silverstar turn signal bulb. That would be the best possible setup for the rear turn signals.
I'd actually love to run Silverstars at all corners. The fronts, because it looks better and the slight amber at some angles when off could be a functional advantage. The rears for reasons stated above.
Skid - Functionally, the lights are exactly the same. They both have an amber insert, but in the 93/94 lights, that insert is right up against the lens, in the 92, it is set back away from the lens so you cannot see it with the light off. The advantage comes from the light flasing Amber-Clear-Amber-Clear, instead of Bright Amber - Dim Amber - Bright Amber - Dim Amber. Just easier to see in the daytime and in sunlight.

^^^ Ah, guess I've never paid that much attention to the back of my car or to that of the 92's. I'll still keep my original amber lenses though.
