Fantasy World

Post by Tleg93 »

I'm sure that folks on the bbs have occasionally had dreams about living in a different world. If you could live in another world, what kind of world would it be (yes, a world full of titties and beer is acceptable)? If you can't think of anything then what one thing would you change about the world we live in?

Oh wait! I want to change mine to Sean Penn's vision of Durkadurkastan . .

A land with rivers of chocolate where children would play with gumdrop smiles. . .

I think Yukon is refering to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

The life in my novels with all its horrors and f-d up stuff to do with an ex-black market transporter and hitman. The masochist in me is unsatisfied if things are way too easy.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Which is why I thought ND would be a good experience for four years of college...which turned into an enlistment and 6 years. I should find the masochist in me and kick his ass.

My fantasy world consists of these things:

1) Performance cars are in their proper hands, the hands of the connoisseurs who are passionate about them and yet still have the balls to drive them the way they're supposed to be frequently. The wannabes and poseurs drive boring econoboxes.

2) Music is made by people who love music, for people who love music. Not because they wanna get rich and show it off to everybody.

3) Women appreciate and hook up with the real men who are ballsy enough to care about women, not the assholes who treat them like shit because they're little babies deep down inside.

These things exist in my fantasy world, because the exact opposite is what's true in the real world.

HERE HERE!!!!!

I second #2 also. I love music and it blows my mind that the junk generally floats to the top these days.

^^ rofl.

My fantasy world.. mmmkay. It's the one where people can think with their emotions, and use them as their motivations for their actions. At the same time, they use logic to determine the answers to everyday situations. Use emotions in pursuit of goals, and logic in pursuit of peace.

In my fantasy world I can afford an 11 sec STi, just by working at Krispy Kreme. And even if I stole boxes of doughnuts to give to my Subie friends.
