A chemical engineer where I work just told me that the name R134 is actually a coded formula for deriving the molecular structure of the refrigerant. I'm curious, does anyone know of other instances of this kind of thing?

1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane

I'm gonna pull my AC equipment out for good and move my PS pump.

Don't move your PS pump. Move the altenator to where the AC was.
