As stated in the post heading, for those of you with a divorced waste gate downpipe, what approximate OD is the waste gate discharge pipe?

I have recently come into possesion of a 3" downpipe for my car, similar to the HKS one, and thought about putting a wastegate discharge pipe on it so exhaust gas isn't slamming into the flange.

It's not just a pipe though, it's pretty well tuned for optimum flow.

I would suggest, that the best use for an HKS downpipe (and likely it's intended use) is an external wastegate.

Spend money on that, and not on a dump tube.
