lightweight pully - should i change belt or not?

Post by EJ22_SLO »

replacing pullys with lightwoight (not underdrive but stock diameter) aftermark ones (all three of them) - if they do offer a belt - should i buy it? if yes - why? is it different as the stock one? i currently use Gates...

PS: which underdrive (stock diameter) pully should i buy?
PPS - is it "pully" or "pulley"?

regards from sunny Europe.

I wouldn't buy an underdriven pulley, just a lightweight one and if the belts are in good shape you might as well leave them alone.

I've got the perrin lightweight pulley on my car.
