Bizarre dreams

Does anyone want to share a bizarre dream or two? I'll start it off since I have and remember some odd ones. The ashtray's been getting slow anyway.

Last night I had a dream that a stange old man was showing me the future. He showed me what a future helicopter would look like, saying it would change everything. It was wild. The thing looked like a concave wheel, like a set of 10 spoke rims with whirling blades inside and a cockpit situated in the center. It also had four other smaller wheels located at four equally spaced spots along the circumference of the larger wheel, each with other rotating blades.

That's it for me. I'm just trying to break up the monotony. Feel free to post or not, obviously.

A few nights ago my gecko, a Bibron, was out and hanging out in one the nitches of my desk. I let him stay there for as long as he's happy pretty much, got all the holes in the apt. filled up, etc. Anyhow, I had a dream that my gecko was having babies. Like hundreds of them, and not just little tiny things, but 1" - 4" range. They were just swarming all over the apt and about the time it started getting a little intense I woke up. Now I usually place a little bit of truth to some dreams but this one... Woah, it was strange.

I know what you mean about the monotony, I've got so much school work I hardly have time to get out to the creek :(.

One that sticks out recently is me driving on the freeway, not paying attention, and seeing the back of a blue GMC sierra van coming up way too fast. I don't know if I hit him or not, but here's hoping I don't trash my new lights within a week of having them on.

Wow, that sounds like fun dzx, LOCK YOUR DOORS. And she thought it would be cool to tell you no less.

I have dreams about dead people sometimes, nightmares is more like it. There is this one with an eyeball just sitting in the street staring at me. It's real creepy but just I seem to laugh about it.

had a creepy dream about the people who used to live in my house. I dreamt they were in a wheelchair(my house has a handicap ramp and rails in the bathroom) but had been killed in some twisted way and their ghost was haunting me. kept hearing a wheelchair bumping into the walls, someone crying, and for some reason I couldnt move. the noises kept getting closer and closer, then I woke up.
dreamt that my sister and I were in a pit crew for a nascar race. no, I didnt understand it either.
I also have a recurring dream where I fall off a ladder at work and wake up just before I hit the ground.

I've been having a lot of dreams about women lately. Women I've had, women I want, women I don't want. All of them sexual.

I really need to get laid :(

I had a dream once about a killer rabbit that evolved on an island inhabited only by rabbits that had lended there after a shipwreck. The killer ones evolved to eat the other ones in response to their being not much of a food chain. They were bigger, faster, and much meaner. They were kiling off people like '50's sci-fi. Wrote a creenplay about it.

Had one back during the Gulf War about human/slug hybrids that the US was using as disposable soldiers. I developed it into a dark Mutant Ninja Turtle kind of thing with one side wanted to destroy humans and the other loyal to us. The dream just had them kind of standing upright and 'marching' with machine guns (these were big slugs). Was going to make a movie in HS with a bunch of fiends (though with a different back story and much simplified), but that fell through.

Recently I've had two dreams with vampires in them. The first one they tried to kill me, but I fought them off. It was like slow motion, like how in a nightmare you can't run fast, except I was somehow kicking their asses despite seemingly punching under water. The second dream I was friends with some (a continuation?) and we were in an amusement park like Main St in Disney World, but Old West style. I was alone and this chick vampire was going to attack me. I figured as long as I could stall her until my friends got there, I'd be fine, so I faked being a vampire myself like I was going to square off with her and she got confused like I was just a nutcase. Then I told her I didn't care if I died anyway, so what the hell. Then I joked that for saying that she was probably going to make me immortal instead. Somehow she fell for me and I woke up when we were making out.

Oh, and when I was 2 I had a dream about a tiger chasing me around my living room and it finally caught me and I floated above my body as it crushed my head with its jaws and ate my brains. So there goes the myth that you die in real life if you see yourself die in a dream.

My dreams also have soundtracks and are in color. Sometimes I wake up with songs from my dreams stuck in my head. Something else that's weird is I dream short bits of conversation that will happen weeks later, but only a few sentences will be the same before the real conversation goes in a different direction as the one I dreamt.

I can disprove that myself.

I actually had a dream (if you can call it that) that I didn't exist. My mind was totally and completely inactive. Everything I had ever known disappeared. To be honest, it was quite peaceful and serene. I woke up and it literally took me a few minutes to remember that I actually existed.

That was when I was 9 I think and I've never forgotten that, or experienced anything like it since.

^^^ When I was little I must have spent the night sleeping with my arm hanging over the edge of the bed because in the morning I had to use my other arm to pull the dead one up and back onto the bed. Shoulder and whole right arm just didn't work for a few, and then came the pins and needles....
