WRS....I've see one around town here, and I am wondering what it is? is it a Pre-WRX model or something? What's under the hood? I'm really just curious.

Never heard of such a thing. Maybe a RS that someone swapped to a WRX?

could be something like pual eklund's old USX rally car. that is what he called his ej22t powered impreza.

Hmm... I'll have to snap a photo. I always see it parked in the same spot, so it shouldn't be hard to grab a picture. I'm not really that observant or educated when it comes to body style differences, but there is a badge on the lower left part of the trunk lid that definitely says WRS.
I Googled it, and there are several results with wrs, but it looks like many of them are typos since the [s] key is right next to the [x] key...

there was a "Rally edition" of the RS. the had some different badging on one fender but still said RS on the trunk.

Probably someone being funny. When I finally finish building my EJ257 STi block, I am going to rebadge my car RSTi...

I bet it's someone's custom badge designed to mess with you.

Well, I inspected a little closer the other day.. It seems to me to be a late 90's RS impreza with a WRS sticker that looks like a badge at a distance.. where it came from or what it's supposed to mean is beyond me... I also noticed it is a girls car and it is an automatic.
Um... nothing against girls... or automatics.

How do you know it's a girl's car? Shit all over the interior and a scrunchy (whatever the fuck they are) on the shifter? That's how I tell.

I used to have a scrunchie on my shifter, now it's on my e-brake. Does that make my car a girl car?

Maybe it's trans? I don't know anymore. There used to be man, woman, gay, straight, but now there are gay men trapped in women's bodies (!), butch women marrying feminine men, and I don't know what else. My lesbian sister's friends have me all messed up now.

Wait, are you calling me a trans?

Yes... anywhere but in California.

I'm not calling you anything - I'm not familiar with what the scrunchie on the e-brake means.
I had a whole long response that followed, but I realized it was just more rambling about weird people my sister knows and not really relevent.

What you guys don't know is what pretty long locks Hardy has. He needs that scrunchie to keep his lushious mane from becomming an unsighly tangle.

Hey,
I am a black lesbian trapped in a white man's body. Don't mock me...

A guy I know has a WRX swap in his RS and he's got a badge that sounds exactly like what you're describing. He just took the "W" from the WRX badge and stuck it right next to his RS badge. Looks very stock if you're not looking extremely hard.
