in defense of the ellipsis, it is improperly used most of the time.

it can be very usefull some times. a period will not do the job when an ellipsis is used properly. it is meant to convey a pause in a thought.

I find it rather amuzing that I've been asked to prepare an estimate to replace a cooling tower for work with an aerial cooler.

For those that need a refresher on their thermo. Water's evaporative cooling effect allows you to achieve temperatures below the ambient temp. The lowest temp is dependent of the wet bulb temp.

Long story short is that I just haven't figured out how to change the laws of thermodynamics to suit their needs. Not to mention my manager is a freaking "yes man" and doesn't really get the fact that anything I replace the old cooling tower with, other then another cooling tower won't meet the process temp requirements on the design day.

I hate bosses that want to be your friend outside of work, then put on their boss hat at the office and turn into an incredibly inconsiderate, inexeperienced, thoughtless prick. I also hate getting talked down to. I hate being considerate of others, and then getting shit on all over for it, and never experience any consideration from others, like I'm the only one living like this.
