ECU Power Mod????

Post by nzKAOSnz »

look at this and tell me if its bollocks or not:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 462858.htm

or

http://www.speedydelivery.co.uk/car-tun ... reza.shtml

Is this bollocks?
Is this advisable/not advisable?

I personally think that this is complete and utter crap, but hey. Someone with more knowledge may fill in the gaps for me.

If you left if on this setting for a while - wouldnt the ecu learn around it, and when you wound it back, wouldnt it be severly retarted/lean?

it's crap. they're meant to be used on MAP based cars....yours is not.

All the chips or other crap out there to either fool the ECU by telling it the intake air temp is lower or the engine coolant temp is colder are crap!

The IAT mod has a better chance of working on MAP based cars because it should have less affect with timing and other stuff.
