Stock boost solenoid

Had a quick question regarding the OEM boost solenoid. Will a newer model MAP sensor from a turbo forester per say work with our ecu's?

Are you talking about the pressure sensor, the pressure exchange solenoid, or the wastegate control solenoid?
A pressure sensor from a newer car won't work. I believe the current turbo-model sensors actually mount directly to the intake manifold. And I'd be surprised if the transfer function was the same.
A pressure exchange solenoid from a mid-to-late 90s Subaru will work. They're basically the same and have the same connector.
A wastegate control solenoid from a newer car won't work; the current models use a two-port solenoid rather than our 3-port one. You couldn't reasonably make the dynamics match. I do think at least the later XT turbos had a compatible wastegate control solenoid though.

Does the stock turbo legacy ECU use the pressure exchange solenoid to switch between atmospheric & manifold pressure?
Would the stock tleg ECU require both the exchange sensor & pressure sensor?

Yes to both.

Yes. The exchange solenoid isn't a sensor; it's a valve.
Have you read my page on using Chrysler parts?

nope, haven't read your page. I'll have to take a look at it.
Thanks.
