Hi,

I purchased a used legacy 1990 that had a swap for a 2.2 turbo and I am wondering how I can tell if the transmission in is the one from the original atmospheric setup or the one that goes with the EJ22 turbo.

How can I find out ?

I brought the car with the motor blew up and I am about to put a WRX block in it. I need to know if I have a transmission that can handle it or should I replace it for another one. If it can help here are the numbers I see on the transmission after removal of the block.

Hmm, sounds like a manual. Is the clutch a cable setup or hydraulic? Better yet, did you have to do anythign with the clutch fork to get the engine out of the car?

Hi the clutch gas a cable and does not seem to have anything hydrolic.

For the motor removal, I don't know since I purchased the car with the motor removed.

Thanks

You think it could handle 250hp ?

And do you know if the ratio is 4:11 ?

Thanks

Not as easily as a different transmission could.

Assuming it's stock, Yes.
