I'm not looking to dump much cash into the car if you're wondering why. I"m just gonna drive it til she feels like stoping

prolly not worth the trouble unless your current rears are shot.

it should feel the same (or better if your rears are dead).... right now i'm on rs rear struts/springs + group n top mounts, and in the front i'm on rs struts with stock springs and top mounts (gets switched tomorrow hopefully to rs springs in the front) it rides alot better becuase my rear struts were dead.

Assuming the rear RS struts are stiffer, handling will be better, however you've now created a situation where your car will oversteer when pushed.
I say this because I did it. I had cheap monroes on the front, and kyb gr2's on the rear. Car handled pretty well, but was tail happy. The rear end stepped out a couple times when going around long sweeping corners. Luckily it was correctable, but the pucker factor was HIGH.
If you don't have the money or don't want to spend it, that's fine, but just be aware of what you've done.

LOL, pucker factor, I like that terminology.
As I said it's just a passing thought at the moment, I'm not sure whats going on back there aside from my end link bushings being shot..
Time, and a mechanic will tell.

Turns out it was the entire rear cross member that rotted out
