I was giving my brother in law a hard time about buying a new pontiac.
So that kinda began him making fun of my legacy.
So a few months pass and he buys an IROC. Now all he does is talk crap. So we decided to just got to this closed down street and go at it. Now before I go into this I need to know how small of a chance I have at beating him.
I am not sure of the year however, but it is def early 90's.
I have looked arround and since I am not sure of the year, I can't get a legit number on hp torque or weight etc.
Has anybody else come accross any info about early 90's camaros? Or even ran against one?

By the way he works for the city, so the street is ok, no businesses or house or kids, and the road condition is good, so its not sketch to race there. Plus he is buddies with the cops.

If he's running a 4 litre or bigger, you know what's up.

But it's something close, like a 3.2l, huh? You have a chance if you've got mods, and whatever, but I think you need to have a decent amount of space, since you have top-end power he probably doesn't have. Why not the freeway?

If its a 305 you should beat it or be right with it. If its a 350 it will beat you. Is your car stock?

Yea, I have pretty bad eye sight evidently. Thanks, its deleted.

I have a 94 5sp turbo with full 3" catless turbo back bliss, coffee mugified, K&N filter, ultra light perrin crank pulley and soon to be installed tmic, EBC, hopefully soon coilpacks.
He is stock.

I want to take him on the highway but i dont know of any safe places to do it.
I don't really care if I win, I just need to know how much trash talk I should expect to hear after it.

If you're on a short stretch of road you should be able to take him off the line and 0-60, turn your boost up. He'll get you though in the long run.

i have beatean a 305 ta form the 1986 model year. but only once and it was when i was stock. iroc will be faster

If he wins, tell him that I'll race him. Make sure he brings a diaper though, because my 11 year old car kicks the shit out of IROC's.

HaHa. If he does, I will make sure to tell him.

Forget the striaght ,throw in some corners and some gravel and watch that rather large boat spin off the road!

thats what I was thinking. you might beat him though, is the IROC stock? race him through some twisties and show him whats up.
