OK

TWO months ago, I dropped off the front and rear seats of the legacy to an upholstery place to have them re-done. The shop is bascially the wife of a co-worker ( I figured she could use the business)

I made sure she understood that there was no initial hurry, but that I needed them by the middle of June ( to make the meet)

Needless to say, she did not get them done. ( and I am still waiting)
SO LESSON #1- do not give work to someone who is closely related to you in some way. ( As if I complain it might affect a work relationship also)

Now, while the car sits, I am not worried about someone stealing it because there are no seats. ( And I know how hard it is to drive like this)

SO, while washing it, a couple teenagers come by and ask me to sell it. ( Umm, like HELLLLLLL NO!) Then they chat about how hard it is to find a turbo car with a 5-spd. ( But they are at least 20 feet from the car. This makes me think they have scoped the car out already.) So I decide I need to move the car that day so they get the idea I drive it and I am not going to give it up.

SO, I get the bright idea to put the seats from the 01 RS into the Legacy so I can move it. ( Mind you this is on Saturday at 2 pm during when the meet is going on)

I figure I could get a bolt or two in- enough to drive it.

Well, the bolt pattern matches up EXACTLY. ( Maybe I missed this in earlier posts, but now I know)

SO MY RANT IS- I COULD HAVE GONE TO THE MEET- IF I HAD PUT THE SEATS FROM THE RS INTO THE LEGACY

I'm sorry, sounds like a sucky enlightening..
Actually, there are people who prefer RS seats, and have the RS interior in their legacy --it's a pretty good match.
You could have made some money, too.. I wanna set of those clear side markers!
