I know I keep bringing up these rudimentary topics, but I'm sure others are wondering as well, and if not then at least we will have some reference material for future users of this site. So...what automatic tranny fluid is everyone using? I'm in need of changing mine out soon and wanted to get a consensus from our fine community. Thanks in advance.

Redline D4 ATF! http://www.redlineoil.com/redlineoil/atfti.htm#D4ATF Good for dexron ii and iii plus mercon and gl-4 gear oil. Also supposed to improve shifting in Manual trannys that use atf.

On my old tranny with 130k or so miles I used it and it seemed great until it broke from an unrelated issue.

I would think that since this fluid has better specs at the temperature extremes it would help to keep your transmission in a consistant characteristic no matter the condition.
